Dance Photography
What fun tonight was for me to step outside of my comfort zone (photographing kids) and try something a little different. I had a great time with T who was cashing in her gift certificate and wanted some photos for her portfolio. After getting rained out a few weekends ago, we were blessed with a gorgeous, warm October afternoon.

Twins!
I had the best morning chasing two year old twins around their yard. Now, two year olds can be a challenge anyway because sitting still and posing isn't their "thing." Well, add two of them in the mix and you can be sure that dad was running one way and mom was running the other to keep up with these two. They weren't so sure about me at first so I encouraged them to show me their garden and their flowers. They have a beautiful backyard, so plenty of places to take photos.

Mom said that she doesn't really care for black and white, but I thought this sweet little face looked adorable with the b&w conversion. What do you think?
So once warmed up, we got a family shot in before we did some more playing.

Here we are in the "warming up" time. Maybe they think that they are invisible with those glasses and I can't see them. Or, maybe hoping that I'll go away. :)

Sweet father/daughter moments. :)

Beautiful Cousins
I had the pleasure of photographing six beautiful girls this weekend. After weeks of unpredictable rain and storms, we were lucky that the skies cooperated! Thanks for a fun time, girls!

Strawberry Picking!
I haven't had time lately to take any photography clients because our family has been very busy. But I wanted to share some photos of a little outing with my girls to an orchard close to town. If you're looking for some ripe red juicy berries, check out Seaman's Orchard in Roseland, VA.

Big Smiles and Chunky Thighs
Little Mr. C came in to see me today and he started the session full of smiles. He may have gotten tired by the end, but he was still amused by his mommy and daddy's silly noises and peek-a-boos. I'm a sucker for baby toes and chunky thighs...who can resist?
